Somewhat of an ad for a fictional scooter company. I really like architecture and fashion of the late 60-70s.

70's and 80's modern minimalism was the best.

It's why I like brutalism so much.
Okay brutalism is more 60's, but still.

another masterpiece! so many questions... photoshop or painter? if photoshop, how do you delineate the edges of buildings with such apparent ease? do you use a selection tool?

PShop. No selection tool, but I like to create silhouettes and 'lock' the layers so I paint within the boundaries. Had some decent ref for it as well. I do a lot of backgrounds for work (just can't post anything...yet), so it's a lot of practice.

Bah, this is amazing! I just love those types of scooters and the whole vibe that this "advertisement" gives off. It is great!

Though to give a little critique, if this is supposed to be an ad, I would maybe give the lady a happier expression with her seeing the bike? Otherwise the style is done well.

The 60's and 70's did produce some brilliant architecture; and just design in general to be honest.

...though I do now have the "Italian Spiderman" soundtrack stuck in my head for some reason; which is odd because it's not entirely fitting to the picture bar the retro connection ---> [link]

Indeed, I love the minimalism and the colours of period(s) :) . Hahaha, that song is awesome! The slow part, if anything fits the mood just right ;).

If you're a fan of "so bad it's good" cinema, the movie itself is worth checking out as well... they put it up on YouTube.

Beautiful. Reminds me somewhat of the behind-the-scenes Virmire artwork from Mass Effect 1.
